VietNamNet Bridge – Vietnamese-origin boy--Nguyen Viet Trung was an outstanding face at the Junior Academy Eppan for the pianist with special talents under 18 years old.

Junior Academy Eppan is an advanced course for talented pianists under 18. Only eight young pianists from around the world are selected to attend the 3-day course in Eppan, South Tirol, Italy with Professor Andrea Bonatta from March 22 to 24 and to participate in two public performances.
This year’s course conversed piano talents from Japan, Canada, the United States, China, Austria and Vietnam. These young pianist have won the highest awards in the big contests like Ettlingen, Tchaikovski ... They are students at the world famous schools, with a full scholarship, or have had their own solo albums and performed at famous theatres all over the world.
Nguyen Viet Trung and young talents, after two sessions with professor Bonata, performed in front of over 300 classical music lovers and then got the votes from the audience. The Vietnamese-origin boy was honored in the top 3 Junior Prize this year with the highest number of votes. The two remaining are from Austria and China.
Earlier, Nguyen Viet Trung - the Vietnamese piano talent, who is compared as "the second Dang Thai Son" returned to Vietnam to play with the Vietnam Symphony Orchestra in the concert Pastoral Symphony at the Hanoi Opera House in December 2012.
Nguyen Viet Trung is now in Poland to continue his study program at the Warsaw Conservatory. The "golden piano boy” will be reunited with the Vietnamese audience later this year.
