This was among eight games competing for Google Play’s Best of Users’ Choice Awards, which finds apps with the best reviews from users in Google’s store. Other competitors include popular games such as Diablo Immortal, Ni no Kuni, Apex Legends Mobile and Tower of Fantasy.

Gun & Dungeons is a product of Topebox, a Vietnamese game studio established in 2012. Topebox has over 100 developers and 10 globally famous games, with over 100 million downloads.

Gun & Dungeons, a multiplayer online role-playing game, is inspired by two famous games, Enter the Gungeon and Minecraft Dungeons, with eye-catching 3D design and friendly pixel graphics. The player in Gun & Dungeons plays the part of a marksman and tries to kill monsters in the dungeons.

The developer hopes that this game will remain popular for a long time by players of different ages. Gun & Dungeons is being used by domestic and international communities of gamers. In Google Play, Gun & Dungeons has 500,000 downloads and 10,000 ratings of 4.4 stars on average.

Named in honor the top 10 games nominated by Google Play 2022 was very encouraging for Topebox. The voting will close on November 15.

The list of leading game companies in Southeast Asia and Pacific for downloads in 2021 released by App Annie included five Vietnamese firms - Amanotes, OneSoft, Gamejam, VNG and Arrasol. Of every 25 games downloaded, one was made by a Vietnamese company.

In 2022, the global game industry is expected to earn US$203 billion in revenue.
