The relief efforts saw the team co-ordinate with Pakistani forces to discover and retrieve the bodies at 18:00 and 20:00 (Turkish time) from the rubble caused by the 7.8 magnitude earthquake. The team had been on duty at 215 street in Hoca Ömer Mahallesi.
This comes after the Vietnamese rescuers detected signs of life in a collapse area of Adiyaman city on February 11 when using ultrasound and cameras to search for victims.
Immediately, the team co-operated with the Turkish co-ordination agency and the Pakistani rescue team to save a 17-year-old victim at 10:10 pm.
Currently, the group are continuing to urgently search for victims who remain trapped in the rubble caused by the deadly earthquake.
The international rescue mission put together by the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam consists of 24 well-trained and experienced soldiers who have participated in many rescues, with the team arriving in Turkey on February 9.
