The Asia-Pacific Veteran Table Tennis Championships will be held from December 3 to 6 at HCM City's Phu Tho Gymnasium.

About 900 players from 19 countries and territories will participate in the ninth edition of the championships.
The highlight of the event will be the presence of former world champion Guo Yue Hwa of China.
Viet Nam will send its best veteran players, such as former Southeast Asian Games winner Vu Manh Cuong and former Asian Games team gold medallist Le Van Tiet.
The players will compete in men's and women's singles and team events, divided into different age groups, ranging from 40 to above 80.
The annual event aimed to give seasoned players a platform to compete, after having dedicated their lives to the sport for years, the organisers said.
Thai Son Nam draw in final match
Thai Son Nam FC of Viet Nam tied 3-3 with hosts Asian Scholars in their last round match at the AFF Futsal Club Championship on Thursday in Bangkok, Thailand.
In an earlier match, Felda United from Malaysia beat ACE FC of Myanmar 3-1 in the Bangkok Arena.
On the men's side, Viet Nam's Sanna Khanh Hoa FC kept their hopes alive for a place in the next round with an exhilarating 1-1 draw against tournament favourites Thaiport.
The Vietnamese side, who needed to avoid a defeat to make sure they had a fighting chance for a place in the final on November 29, were disciplined in their defence as they frustrated Thaiport's efforts for long periods.
In another match, Felda United paid the price of being overconfident when they were held to a 2-2 draw by MIC FC.
Binh Duong sign Cuong and Phu
Defending champions V.League 1 Becamex Binh Duong have signed goalkeeper Tran Duc Cuong and defender Truong Huynh Phu for next season.
The contracts' value weren't revealed. Both have signed two year deals Binh Duong.
Cuong, who played for Song Lam Nghe An, has made three appearances for Viet Nam's national team. Meanwhile, Phu previously played for Binh Duong from 2012-2014.
Binh Duong have won four top flight titles in 2007, 2008, 2014 and 2015. They also took part in the group stage of the 2008 and 2015 AFC Champions League.
