A young Vietnamese has arrived in France after motorbiking from Vietnam over 150 days.

Tran Dang Dang Khoa, 31, from the southern province of Tien Giang started his journey on June 1 this year and finished it on October 28.

He spent 500 litres of petrol for the 20,000 kilometre trip which passed through Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Nepal, India, Pakistan, Iran, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Bulgaria, Greece, Albania, Montenegro, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Croatia, Italy, Switzerland, Lichtenstein, Austria, Germany, Luxembourg, Belgium and France.

Khoa wrote on his Facebook that he had chances to see different cultures, eat dishes, meet new people, including Vietnamese people who live and work in many countries. The journey left him with many unforgettable memories.

He added that luckily, he did not experience any traffic accidents and his health was quite good during the trip.

He has also planned to fly to the southern African countries of Kenya, Tanzania, Mozambique and Madagascar. After that, he wanted to visit Argentina, Paraguay, Bolivia, Peru and Chile. One the way back to Vietnam, he will come to Australia, East Timor, Indonesia, Malaysia and Laos.

“I am partially satisfied for fulfilling part of my dream to travel around the world. Many foreigners do this and we can do this too. The journey requires great effort, careful preparations, but it isn’t impossible,” Khoa wrote on his Facebook.
