VietNamNet Bridge – Veteran Nguyen Thi Ngoc Hoa has been invited by the Bangkok Glass Club to compete in the Thai National League this year, according to the Viet Nam Volleyball Federation.

Hoa currently plays as an attacker for domestic club VTV Binh Dien Long An and the Vietnamese national team, but she has welcomed approaches from foreign clubs, especially in Thailand.

Earlier this year, Hoa and two teammates became the first Vietnamese female volleyball players to sign contracts with a foreign club, and Hoa helped Thailand's Ayutthay triumph in the Thai Super Cup in May.

Hoa had competed for a number of foreign clubs before Binh Dien Long An agreed a deal with Bangkok Glass.

Hoa left for Thailand yesterday (Oct 14) in preparation for Bangkok Glass's first match with Khon Kaen VC on October 25.
