VietNamNet Bridge – The annual concert of VietNamNet Newspaper “Things Everlasting” will take place on the afternoon of September 2 (National Day) at the Hanoi Opera House, as usual.

“The concert will be an event to honor Vietnam’s elite music,” stated composer Duong Thu at a press conference in Hanoi on August 27.
The press conference attracted the participation of nearly 40 correspondents from many newspapers and television stations in Vietnam.
According to VietNamNet Chief Editor Bui Sy Hoa, who is also the chief organizer, the concert has the participation and contribution of nearly 200 people, including famous artists like composer Duong Thu, conductor Le Phi Phi, singers Thanh Lam, My Linh, Hong Nhung, Nguyen Thao, Dang Duong, Trong Tan, Duyen Huyen and the Vietnam National Symphony Orchestra.

Mr. Hoa admitted that the funding for the concert is high but he confirmed to maintain this annual event in the future.
“The concert will always be held at 2pm of September 2, at the Hanoi Opera House, with the top quality and artistic value. From the country’s heart, music will elevate to encourage and excite Vietnamese people’s patriotism,” he emphasized.
The concert will introduce immortal music works of Vietnam.
The show will be aired live on VTV1 channel of the national Vietnam Television station at 2pm, September 2.
