Vietnam’s vegetarian food market is growing at an average rate of 8.1% per year and is projected to reach a value of 220.5 million USD by 2033, according to market research firm IMARC Group.
Amidst robust digital transformation across all sectors, the food processing industry has tapped such digital technologies as Internet of Things, AI, blockchain and Big Data to optimise production process, control supply chain.
As part of the national trade promotion programme, the Agricultural Trade Promotion Centre of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment sent a delegation of 27 businesses to participate in the Vietnamese booth at Foodex Japan 2025.
The new regulations aim to enhance the quality and reputation of Vietnamese food products in international markets, as well as ensure a transparent and efficient process for food exporters to comply with regulatory requirements.
