VietNamNet Bridge – The national futsal team of Vietnam on February 22 defeated Cambodia to lead Group B in the qualifier round of the Asian Futsal Championship.

This is the second win of the team, after trouncing Malaysia 4-0 in the first round.

 

In the second game against Cambodia, Vietnamese players scored seven goals while Cambodian team had only one goal.

 

With six points, Vietnam ranks first in Group B, followed by Australia, with 4 points, Malaysia (1 point) and Cambodia (0).

 

Today, February 23, the last game of the qualifier round will take place. In Group A, Philippines will face Myanmar and Thailand vs. Indonesia. The both matches will be held at 2pm.

 

Vietnam will compete with Australia at 5pm to define the top team of Group B. Malaysia will face Cambodia.
