According to China News, one mushroom has a diameter of 1.2 m, and weighs 5 kg. The other mushroom has a diameter of 1.5 m and weighs 6 kg. Smaller lingzhi mushrooms are growing on it.

Mr. Guo Quan, director of the Zhengzhou Museum, said the two giant mushrooms, over 200 years old, came from the primeval forest in Vietnam.

He said such giant and old mushrooms are very rare in nature and are "world treasures". Guo did not disclose the location and the time the mushrooms were found in Vietnam.
