Vietnam’s Got Talent is not arranged, says organizer

The letter accused producers of the Vietnam’s Got Talent reality show of processing Quynh Anh’s performance, entitled “Mother’s Love” in episode 7 of the stage round, marking the 15-year-old contestant look ridiculous to attract public attention.
According to Quynh Anh, this scandal has caused “spiritual crisis” to her family and herself and she had to live in fear in 240 hours.
Earlier, Quynh Anh’s mother, Mrs. Ngo, told the media that the show producer and the organizing board arranged the show for commercial purposes at to attract the audience. She said that the director arranged the show, told her and her daughter what to wear and to say. In response, the organizing board stated to not take advantage of Quynh Anh.
In the letter, Quynh Anh asked the Vice Chair of the National Assembly’s Committee for Culture and Education of Children and Youth Ngo Thi Minh to investigate the case. “Please save me, my mother and my family,” the letter said.
Judge Thuy Hanh was very surprised of the letter. She said that she did not expect that this case was pushed to that level.
The online community said that this is not a letter written by a 15-year-old girl because the words are very sharp and bitter. Many people guessed that the mother incited her daughter to write the letter. They expressed their sympathy to Quynh Anh.
“Instead of writing a bullshit letter to the National Assembly to make people laugh, you should concentrate on study and practice scales to be a singer in the future,” one wrote on an online forum.
The letter has made the case become more complicated. The organizing board of the Vietnam’s Got Talent has not made any statement.
