VietNamNet Bridge - Vietnamese representative at 2015 Miss World pageant Tran Ngoc Lan Khue, 23, won the World Designer Award during the Saturday finale, held in Sanya, China's Hainan Province.

Lan Khue won the World Designer Award for this evening gown, designed by Ly Qui Khanh.



Lan Khue took the award for her evening gown shaped as a glowing flame, designed by Ly Qui Khanh, a well-known Vietnamese fashion designer.

She also entered the top 11 of Miss World after winning the People's Choice Award.

Lan Khue was the winner of the Vietnam Ao Dai (traditional gown) Beauty 2014 in early January, which was held for the first time in Vietnam to select the country’s representatives for the Miss World, Miss International, and Miss Supranational, before being selected as Miss World Vietnam.

Previously, she won the third prize at the Asian Super Model Contest 2012, which took place in September 2012 in China and also won the Vietnam Supermodel 2013 contest.

Lan Khue boasts body measurements of 84-60-88.

The girl from Spain, Mireia Lalaguna, was crowned Miss World 2015. Russia's Sofia Nikitchuk ranked second and Indonesia's Maria Harfanti came third.
