VietNamNet Bridge - With a total investment of VND48 billion ($2.4 million), equipped with modern fire-fighting technology, the ST 115 ship has hose reels that can spray up to 5,000 - 8,000 liters of water per minute and send fire-fighting foam up to 250 meters high.

On the morning of February 2, the Son Hai Shipbuilding Company of the High Command
of Border Guard handed over the ship to the HCM City Fire-fighting Police Agency.
This $2.4 million ship was bought by the city's budget. 

The ship is 21.5 m long, 6 m wide and it can run at a maximum speed of nearly
40 km per hour. It is equipped with modern fire- fighting technology worth
VND18 billion ($900,000,) with a pumping machine that can provide
up to 8,000l of water per minute.

It can also supply 5,000 liters of fire-fighting foam per minute. 

Specifically, with the 1-7 technology, the ship is equipped with one
pumping machine that can spray fire-fighting foam to buildings of
250 meters high. This helps ST115 become the largest and most
modern fire-fighting ship in Vietnam.

All machinery and equipment are placed in the hold and the ship has enough room for 10-14 soldiers. 

In addition to directly fight fire, the ship ST 115 can also provide water for
fire fighting at high-rise buildings. In the photo, the HCM City Firefighting
Police are in drills with water pumped from the ship ST 115 to the 52nd
floor of the tallest building in Ho Chi Minh City.

More than 100 liters of gasoline fire on the barge was stamped out by vessel
ST 115 in 2 minutes. According to the Ministry of Public Security,
