Winner of Vietnam’s Next Top Model 2016 Nguyen Thi Ngoc Chau is now in Seoul for the Seoul Fashion Week from March 27 to April 1.

The 23-year-old model, a native of the southern province of Tay Ninh, was a student of Ton Duc Thang University in HCMC.

Chau said in a statement that she is honored to show up at the first overseas fashion performance. 

Quynh Trang, chairwoman of Be U Models, the agency that has sent previous VNTM winners including Hoang Thuy, Mau Thuy, Tuyet Lan and Cha Mi to international fashion shows, will accompany Chau in the forthcoming trip.

Quynh Trang said that Be U will introduce Chau to leading agencies in Korea, including YG Kplus, one of the biggest model agencies there, to give Chau an opportunity in her modeling career.

YG Kpus currently manages nearly 200 models. Previously, in 2014, Kplus, the former name of YG Kplus signed a deal with YG Entertainment, a cradle to train leading stars.

Trang noted that Be U Models and YG Kplus would have more long-term cooperation to develop models in both countries.
