VietNamNet Bridge – The 2013 Vietnam’s Next Top Model organisers have announced they will also welcome male contestants, besides female participants like previous years.

The change was made after the 20th season of original America’s Next Top Model opened to male models this February. This was be the first season of America's Next Top Model to feature male contestants.

Tuoitrenews quoted Multimedia JSC, the Vietnamese show’s organisers, as saying that the fourth season of the modeling reality show hopes to bring more chances to male models to shine.

The 2013 Vietnam’s Next Top Model is receiving applications from all nationals aged from 18 to 25 with the height from 170cm (for women) to 175cm (for men).

The national casting round is scheduled to be held in the middle of this month.

The original America’s Next Top Model reality show was created in 2003 and hosted by supermodel Tyra Banks. It has seen localised series being produced in over 20 markets including Australia, Brazil, Germany, Russia, New Zealand, Britain & Ireland, Italy, Greece, Mexico, the Republic of Korea and Vietnam.
