The Ministry of Industry and Trade (MoIT) is set to officially impose anti-dumping and anti-subsidy duties on a number of cane sugar products originating from Thailand as from August 18.

Domestic sugar producers have been facing mounting pressure in competition with imported sugar in recent years.
