VietNamNet Bridge – After being named the third runner-up of the Miss International pageant on November 5, Pham Hong Thuy Van was recently presented the Missosology Choice Award.

Thuy Van has been the most successful Vietnamese contestant at the world’s top three beauty pageants - Miss Universe, Miss World and Miss International.

The Missosology Choice Award is an annual award of the prestigious website for the outstanding contestants of the world’s largest four beauty contests, including Miss World, Miss Earth, Miss Universe and Miss International.

In 2012 and 2013, the winners of Missosology S Choice Awards were determined through a direct poll on Missosology. By actively calling for its people to vote for its representatives, Myanmar won in both polls.

To have an objective and more precise result, Missosology closed the poll in 2014 and selected the winner based on the criteria for a "comprehensive beauty". The winner was chosen based on the beauty of her face, her personality, communication skills, and performance in the finale. The winner of last year was Miss Slovakia, who was even not in the top 10 candidates, but was considered to have a comprehensive beauty.

This year the winner is Pham Hong Thuy Van of Vietnam. 

On the fanpage of Missosology, audience members from Vietnam and other countries wrote words of congratulations for Thuy Van. On her personal page, Thuy Van shared her joy and thanked the experts of Missosology and her supporters.

Thuy Van is still in Japan performing some duties for the sponsors of Miss International 2015. She is returning to Vietnam on November 16.
