Celebrating 20 years, these exhibitions showcased a diverse range of products and services tailored for the livestock and aquaculture industries, including high-quality animal breeds, nutritious feed, advanced machinery, smart farm management solutions, waste treatment systems, and organic products.
A key theme at this year’s event was the integration of cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), the Internet of Things (IoT), and big data analytics, which are transforming industry practices by optimizing production processes. With these comprehensive solutions, Vietstock and Aquaculture Vietnam empower farmers to enhance productivity, improve product quality, mitigate risks, and reach broader markets.
At the exhibition’s opening ceremony, Mr. Phung Duc Tien, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, remarked: “International integration and technology are essential drivers for improving productivity, quality, and efficiency in livestock farming. Establishing a supportive environment that encourages investment, research, and technology transfer is crucial for the industry’s future. This exhibition is a vital bridge, connecting the business community, experts, producers, and both domestic and international farmers, fostering collaboration and sharing insights.”
He further emphasized that exhibitors have noted increased equipment sales year after year following Vietstock, citing the continuous innovation in livestock and aquaculture technologies as key to enhancing the industry’s productivity, quality, and competitiveness.
On behalf of the Organizing Committee, Mr. Ben Wong, Country General Director of Informa Markets Vietnam, highlighted the exhibition’s core significance, saying: “This year marks a major milestone for Vietstock as we celebrate its 20th anniversary. Vietstock and Aquaculture Vietnam have become essential events for the livestock and aquaculture industries in Vietnam, providing a critical opportunity for us all to come together, share knowledge, and collaborate toward a brighter future.”
Organized by the Department of Livestock Production (Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development) and supported by six livestock and aquaculture associations, Vietstock 2024 and Aquaculture Vietnam 2024 featured over 90 in-depth knowledge sessions.
These sessions provided valuable insights into current industry trends and strategies to boost production capacity, with highlights including the Biosecurity Asia Forum and the ASEAN Associations Round Table, which offered global perspectives and expanded opportunities for international networking.
An integral part of the exhibition, the Vietstock Awards 2024 celebrated 16 outstanding companies for their commitment to advancing the Vietnamese livestock industry. This year’s turnout of 13,624 visitors from 45 countries and regions underscored the event’s success and marked a milestone in two decades of supporting the Vietnamese livestock and aquaculture industries.
Vietstock 2025 is already scheduled for October 8–10, 2025, while Aquaculture Vietnam 2026 will take place from March 11–13, 2026, both at the SECC, located at 799 Nguyen Van Linh, District 7, Ho Chi Minh City.
Next year’s events promise even more activities, innovative technologies, and business opportunities, paving the way for a prosperous and sustainable livestock industry.
