Viettel IDC has added four new honors at the Globee Awards for Technology 2026, bringing its total number of international awards this year to eight across cloud computing, data centers, cybersecurity and environmental, social and governance (ESG) initiatives.

The awards highlight the company's integrated digital infrastructure ecosystem, spanning computing infrastructure, application platforms, data management and operational infrastructure.

Four layers of digital capability recognized

As enterprises accelerate digital transformation and artificial intelligence adoption, demand is growing for digital infrastructure that extends beyond computing capacity to include application deployment, data management and resilient operations.

At the Globee Awards for Technology 2026, Viettel IDC received recognition across four core technology layers.

Viettel Virtual Private Cloud was honored for computing infrastructure, Viettel Kubernetes Service for application development and operations, Viettel Database Service for data management, and the company's network of nine data centers for operational infrastructure.

Among the awards, Viettel Virtual Private Cloud, Viettel Kubernetes Service and the data center network each received Gold Awards and were named Best of Category, recognizing them as the top-performing entries in their respective categories.

Viettel Database Service received a Silver Award.

Collectively, the awards recognize not only the performance of individual services but also the strength of Viettel IDC's integrated digital ecosystem, enabling enterprises to deploy applications more quickly, improve operational reliability, safeguard critical data and scale their digital operations.

Le Ba Tan, General Director of Viettel IDC, said the company's objective extends beyond offering a broad portfolio of standalone products.

Cybersecurity and sustainability strengthen the ecosystem

The four Globee Awards are part of Viettel IDC's portfolio of eight international awards earned during the first half of 2026.

In addition to recognition for cloud computing and data centers, the company received international honors in cybersecurity and sustainability, two areas it describes as essential to building a secure and future-ready digital infrastructure ecosystem.

At the Cybersecurity Excellence Awards, Viettel IDC received three Gold Awards.

The company was recognized as MSSP of the Year and Pentest Team of the Year, reflecting the expertise of its cybersecurity teams in helping enterprises identify vulnerabilities and strengthen cyber resilience.

Viettel Cloud Web Application Firewall (CWAF) also received a Gold Award in the Web Application Security category for protecting online applications against common cyber threats.

Viettel IDC's sustainability efforts were further recognized with the Gold CSR & ESG Leadership Award at the Global CSR & ESG Awards 2026.

The award acknowledged the company's development of green data centers and environmentally responsible digital infrastructure while balancing business growth with environmental and social responsibilities.

Focus on AI-ready infrastructure

Looking ahead, Viettel IDC plans to continue investing in AI-ready cloud platforms, expand its data management capabilities, strengthen its cybersecurity ecosystem and improve the energy efficiency of its data center infrastructure.

The company said these investments are intended to support the next phase of enterprise digital transformation.

The Globee Awards for Technology are part of the broader Globee Awards program, an international competition recognizing organizations, products and technology solutions for innovation, business value, customer impact and industry influence.

Winners are selected by an international panel of industry experts through a multi-stage evaluation process.

The Cybersecurity Excellence Awards recognize outstanding achievements in cybersecurity based on technical expertise, practical implementation and contributions to advancing the industry.

The Global CSR & ESG Awards honor organizations for excellence in sustainability, corporate social responsibility and ESG performance, with particular influence across the Asia-Pacific region. Winners are evaluated on the measurable impact of their environmental, social and governance initiatives.
