Foreigners registered to buy 112 apartments of Vinhomes Central Park within two hours on July 1, when the amended Law on Housing and Real Estate Business came into effect.

A source from Vingroup, the project's investor, said more than 400 foreigners and Viet kieu (overseas Vietnamese) from the United States, the United Kingdom, France and Japan, as well as South Korea participated in the sale held in Hanoi and HCM City.

Inspired by New York's Central Park, Vinhomes Central Park, a 43ha project in Tan Cang area of Binh Thanh District, is connected by railway and waterways to important areas that are only a few minutes away.

The construction of the project, which includes a green, modern and harmonious urban area, will be completed by 2015.
