Vingroup has signed strategic partnership agreements in project design, consultancy and management with the world's eight leading engineering and construction groups on July 17.
The signing, carried out in Hanoi and HCM City, was considered a strategic step in ensuring work on key projects for Vingroup in developing international standards and creating landmarks that will be viewed as part of a modern and integrated Vietnam.
The eight groups include well-known brands in the fields of construction and real estate, including Atkins from the UK, Gensler and Aedas from the US, Aurecon from Australia, Arup from the US, Mace from the UK, Artelia from France and Meinhardt from Australia.
The agreements are aimed at improving the design and construction quality of Vingroup's projects and ensuring these projects keep up with the architecture, modernity and sustainability of world symbols.
The eight groups will be chosen to participate in project design, construction implementation supervision and project management at key projects undertaken by Vingroup nationwide, as well as helping to assure that these projects meet international standards.
These groups have earlier participated in construction at London's Heathrow Airport, Burj Al Arab – the world's most luxurious hotel in Dubai and Gardens by the Bay in Singapore.
After the signing of the agreement in Hanoi and HCM City, the eight groups will participate in designing, supervising the implementation process and managing key Vingroup projects throughout the country.
