According to the artist, the concert is a chance for him to meet and honour his devoted fans, who he couldn’t meet over the past year due to his busy schedule.

“I’ve never had so many concert tours as I had over past 12 months. I still have many appointments with my beloved friends and fans that I haven’t implemented yet. I have many thanks and many stories that I want to share with them. So this year-end concert will be a chance for me to implement this,” the artist wrote on his Facebook.

The concert, which will take place at the newly opened Si Lounge Cuisine-Mixology on Hang Bai Street, will feature Rob’s hits, including Say You Do and Cầu Vồng Đêm Mưa (Rainbow of Rainy Night).

The artist will also perform some pieces from his soon-to-be-released LP, which covers ballads by late composers Trinh Cong Son, Thanh Tung and Tu Huy.

Divo Tung Duong will be a special guest and will perform Nét Ca Trù Ngày Xuân (The Spring Tunes of Ca Trù) and Chiếc Khăn Piêu (The Piêu Scarf), accompanied by Rob’s violin.

Hoang Rob earned fame with music videos filmed at some of Vietnam’s most famous tourist spots. Influenced by the world’s best-selling string quartet – Bond – he has perfected his fusion of pop, world music and classical instruments.

He was named ‘New Artist of the Year’ at the Devotion Awards in 2017.
