Tuan announced the names of the 21 players and two reserve players.

In the defence line, Tuan named seven players, including Do Thanh Thinh of SHB Da Nang, Doan Van Hau and Dang Van Toi of Ha Noi, as well as Ho Tan Tai of Binh Dinh.

Among eight midfielders, there are two players from Ha Noi (Nguyen Quang Hai, Ho Minh Di) and three from Hoang Anh Gia Lai, including Dinh Thanh Binh, Tran Thanh Son and Luong Hoang Nam.

In the attack line, Tuan called up Nguyen Tien Linh of Becamex. Binh Duong, Ha Duc Chinh of SHB Da Nang and Tran Thanh of Hue.

Today, the team will move to HCM City to prepare for the friendly match with U20 Argentina at Thong Nhat Stadium on May 10.

According to Tuan, the upcoming match will be Viet Nam’s final rehearsal for the FIFA U20 World Cup in South Korea, continuing in May and June 2017.

Argentina will also arrive in HCM City today.

At the World Cup, Argentina is in Group A with hosts South Korea, Guinea and England, while Viet Nam is in Group E with France, Honduras and New Zealand.
