VietNamNet Bridge – The Communist Party of Viet Nam (CPV) Central Committee has sent a congratulatory message to the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) to mark the 90th anniversary of the founding of the CPC on July 1, 1921.

It said that, under the leadership of the CPC, the Chinese people had overcome countless difficulties and hardships to win great victories of historical significance in the revolutionary cause, national liberation and the building of socialism, especially in the country's reform, open-door and modernisation process in recent years.

"The CPV and the Vietnamese people warmly congratulate China on the achievements it has made during more than 30 years of reform and opening up process and firmly believe that under the sound leadership of the CPC, the Chinese people will determinedly win greater achievements, successfully realise goals and missions outlined in the 12th five-year plan, and comprehensively build a moderately prosperous and socialist harmonious society," it said.

"The CPV wishes that the CPC and fraternal Chinese people continue to win greater achievements in the reform and open-door process, in the building of socialism with Chinese characteristics and in the comprehensive construction of a moderately prosperous and socialist harmonious society put forth by the CPC and the Chinese people."

Party General Secretary and National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Phu Trong sent congratulatory flowers to Party General Secretary and State President Hu Zintao.
