VietNamNet Bridge - Ines Ligron, a well-known trainer of contestants at international beauty pageants, said that 2015 is "Vietnam Year" as Lan Khue and Pham Huong are among the brightest faces at two major beauty competitions – Miss World and Miss Universe.
Ines Ligron, best known as the trainer of Miss Universe 2007 Riyo Mori and the first runner-up of Miss Universe 2006 Kurara Chibana, wrote on her personal page that both Vietnamese representatives Lan Khue (Miss World) and Pham Huong (Miss Universe) are outstanding.
For Lan Khue, she wrote: "It is happening at Miss World, beautiful fashion show. Actually, I have my favourites, I like Miss France or Miss Vietnam to win, they are stunning!
It is Vietnam Year definitely! Miss Vietnam in Sanyan, gorgeous, cannot wat to meet her in a few days."
Ligron also made positive comments about Pham Huong. She predicted that Pham Huong would definitely be in the Top 5. She appreciated Pham Huong’s body, her catwalk skills and her confidence.
The final night of Miss World 2015 will take place in Sanya, Hainan, China on the evening of December 19 while the last night of Miss Universe 2015 will be held on the evening of December 20 (local time) in Las Vegas, USA.
Ines Ligron is a French fashion and beauty specialist who worked with celebrities such as Sarah Jessica Parker, Penélope Cruz, Jennifer Lopez, Maria Sharapova, and Beyoncé.
In 1997, she became executive producer of Miss Universe Japan pageant. She is also director of the world's leading modeling firm IMG Models in Asia Pacific.

Miss Universe Vietnam 2015 Pham Huong performed a Vietnamese song entitled “Da Co Hoai Lang” (Night Drumbeats Cause Longing for Absent Husband) at the talent competition of the 2015 Miss Universe in the US.
This is a Vietnamese song, composed in 1918 by songwriter Cao Van Lau, from the southern province of Bac Lieu. It was a massive hit across Vietnam in 1927 as it was taken up by travelling troupes and spawned many variants, versions and imitators.
It is considered the first song in the what became known as “vong co” (longing) melody of the nhac tai tu (amateur music) genre of cai luong (reformed) music in southern Vietnam.
