VN football players practice at noon to get used to harsh weather in the UAE

Head Coach Park Hang Seo of the national football team of Vietnam has arranged training sessions at noon and in the afternoon to help his players get used to the hot weather in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

As many as 37 players have been summoned to the national squad to prepare for the 2nd qualifier round of the World Cup 2022, which will take place in the UAE in June.

The team gathered on May 7 in Hanoi and the next day, and they had the first training session in the early afternoon when the temperature was very high. The second training session on May 9 began at 10:30am when the weather started to be hot and sultry.

Coach Park arranged training sessions at noon and afternoon when the temperature was high to help his players get used to the expected hot weather in the UAE.

Coach Park Hang Seo is particularly paying attention to the weather in the UAE. According to the initial plan, the team will group up for training in the central city of Quy Nhon, where the high temperature is similar to that of the UAE. However, due to complicated developments of the Covid-19 pandemic, the team has stayed in Hanoi.

Despite the hot weather, the Vietnamese team's exercises were intense and constantly changing.

The team has nearly a month to prepare for the World Cup qualifying round. The goal of the Vietnamese team is to win 4-6 points against Indonesia, Malaysia and the UAE.
