Addressing the opening ceremony, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh said the promulgation of Resolution 61/2018/ND-CP on April 23, 2018, on the implementation of the one-stop shop mechanism in addressing administrative procedures at all levels from central to local is a breakthrough in the Government’s administrative reform.

The resolution aims to create an open and coherent mechanism in dealing with administrative procedures based on the principle of taking businesses and people as the centre, he said.

After the launching ceremony, the FM directly experienced services at the one-stop shop unit which lies at the ministry’s Consular Department.

In 2018, the foreign ministry received 197,550 dossiers and addressed 197,046 ones, including 162,365 through the one-stop shop mechanism, according to the Government’s Office.-VNA
