Dep Nhat La Em is a pop ballad song with a sweet and gentle melody, telling a story of a couple in love.

In performance, Soobin will sing in Korean, while Jiyeon will sing in Vietnamese.

The two singers spent a month on choosing a song and making the video, which was filmed in South Korea.

Its three teasers have attracted thousands of viewers on social media networks like YouTube and VLine after it was released on July 10.

Tran Phuong Lan, a high school student in Dong Nai Province, said: “The song is pretty, and the melody is so sweet. The video is nice. Singers are beautiful. And voices are beautiful too.”

Lan is fan of both Soobin and Jiyeon and is waiting to watch a full version of the video which is planned for release on July 30.

The duo will offer a live performance of Dep Nhat La Em at V Heartbeat Live in HCM City on July 31.

The concert will also feature Korean boy bands EXID and The Boyz, and Vietnamese songstress Bao Anh.

Jiyeon debuted as a member of the girl group T-Ara in 2009.

The group was popular across Asia with hits Lies, Time to Love and Bo Peep Bo Peep, and has toured across South Korea, Japan, China, Thailand, Malaysia, Cambodia and Vietnam

Apart from her group’s activities, Jiyeon has also starred in TV dramas such as Soul, Master of Study and Dream High 2.

In 2014, she debuted as a solo artist with her debut mini album, Never Ever, making her the first T-Ara member to debut as a solo artist.

Soobin debuted in 2016 with hits lalala and Phia Sau Mot Co Gai (Behind a Girl).

In 2017, he was invited to be one of four coaches at a TV reality singing show for children The Voice Kids.

Soobin was nominated for an MV of the year at this year’s Devotion Music Awards, an annual music award launched by Vietnam News Agency’s The Thao & Van Hoa (Culture & Sport) newspaper to honour the best music and artists of the year.

His MV Di De Tro Ve (Going to Return) features scenery and landscape in Da Lat in the Central Highlands province of Lam Dong.

Soobin was invited to play a leading role in film director and producer Phan Minh’s fourth film project Yolo-Ban Chi Song Mot Lan (Yolo- Living Life to the Fullest).

The movie is expected to be in cinemas in November.
