* Binh Duong director fired after humiliating 1-4 defeat
Becamex Binh Duong football team's executive director Doan Van Ut was fired on Sunday after their humiliating 1-4 loss to Song Lam Nghe An at their Go Dau Stadium, Binh Duong Province.
Ut was awarded the post after a major personnel clear-out of the team two years ago.
However, Ut failed in both managing the team and improving their league standing.
Bizarrely Ut's replacement of Tran Van Duong was the previous holder of the position. Duong who resigned in 2009 is expected to help the V-League's twice-champions return to winning ways, after a season of only three wins, two draws and three losses that has left them in eighth position this season.
