Two Vietnamese tennis players reached the semi-finals of the 2015 Asia U14 Tennis Championship, Division II, in HCM City's Phu Tho Sports Centre yesterday.

Vo Hoang Hung of HCM City defeated Pakistan's Rehman 2-1, while Nguyen Van Phuong of Binh Duong beat Nepal's Bajracharya 2-0 in the boys' singles quarter-finals.

Tran Thi Thanh Truc of HCM City and Hoang Linh Chi of Ninh Thuan were beaten in the women's quarter-final matches.

Sixty-five young tennis players from 12 teams, including Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and the Maldives, are participating in the boys' and girls' singles and doubles events in the tournament that ends on January 29.
