Khac’s national costume is designed by designers Bao Bao and Ngoc Thien Son. The costume is inspired by the legend about Saint Giong - a mythical folk hero of Vietnam's history and one of The Four Immortals. According to the legend, Giong was a boy who rode on an iron horse and won against the enemy of the state.

Khac has been in Bali, Indonesia since August 15 to participate in the pageant.

Born in 1992 in Ho Chi Minh City, Khac stands at a height of 1.82 meters. The Vietnamese model graduated from Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics and received plenty of compliments due to his masculine appearance and strong communication skills.

In late April this year Khac won the runner-up title of The Next Gentle Man contest and was subsequently chosen to vie for the Man of The Year 2022 title.

The 2022 pageant, the fifth of its kind, aims to seek outstanding male talents who possess a good look, take an interest in social issues, and demonstrate the ability to have a positive impact on their respective communities.

Its grand finale is scheduled to take place in Bali, Indonesia, on August 23.

In 2019 Vietnamese model Tuong Ngoc Minh was named as first runner-up of the Man of The Year pageant.
