VietNamNet Bridge - Nguyen Van Son, 21, a member of the national Taekwondo team is competing at the Mister Global 2015 pageant in Thailand.

The competition attracts 21 contestants from many countries in the world.

Son, 1.93m, is among outstanding faces at the contest. He won 15 medals at Taekwondo tournaments in Vietnam and Asia.

However, Mr. Nguyen Dang Chuong, Head of the Performing Art Agency, told an online newspaper yesterday that Son was not licenced to represent Vietnam at Mister Global 2015.

The official said that in this case, Son would be fined and if he wins any prize at the competition, the prize would not be recognized.

Earlier, some models like Dieu Linh, Cao Thuy Linh, Huynh Thuy Anh and Tuong Vy were fined for competing at beauty contests without licence.

This is the second time competition being held. The finale will take place on March 7 in Bangkok.
