According to the Viet Nam Football Federation (VFF)’s deputy chairman, Tran Quoc Tuan, the South Korea Football Federation will support Vietnam during their training.

“It is a wonderful arrangement,” said Vietnam’s head coach Park Hang-seo.

As planned, Vietnam will take part in a training course at the Paju National Football Centre on October 17-28 and play friendlies there.

The final round of the AFF Cup 2018 will be held from November 8 to December 15. Vietnam are in Group A with Malaysia, Myanmar, Laos and Cambodia.

Group B consists of Thailand, Indonesia, the Philippines, Singapore and the winner of a play-off match between Timor Leste and Brunei.

“Tuan and I discussed carefully about the plan to prepare for the AFF Cup as well as Asian Games. Everything is well. Of course, VFF will organise more friendly matches for Vietnam to hone their skills,” said Hang-seo.
