After the final match of the group stage of the 2023 World Cup against the Netherlands, the team was awarded VND500 million by the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF).

The total bonus that the team got after three matches was VND1.8 billion, including VND800 million for the match v.s the US, and VND500 million for the game against Portugal.

In addition to the bonus from the VFF, each team member will receive up to 30,000 USD from FIFA. The total rewards for the team will reach VND17.8 billion.

Besides rewards for individuals, each member country will receive FIFA’s financial support, depending on their team's performance at the tournament.

Accordingly, VFF will get $1.56 million.

It is expected that at 11:30 am on August 3, coach Mai Duc Chung and his team will arrive at Hanoi’s Noi Bai International Airport, officially closing their journey to the World Cup 2023.
