“Nguyen Cong Tri, who has been doing couture-level work for years in HCM City and struck home with a deeply heartfelt collection, inspired by the flower sellers who crowd his streets—architectural white garments from the front, with elaborate fabric and beaded blooms spilling out the back’, Vogue wrote. 

A graphic design graduate of the HCM City University of Architecture, Nguyen Cong Tri devotes all his energies to his "big love" – fashion. In a little more than 10 years, Tri has gone from being a fashion outsider to a top couture designer in Vietnam with A-list celebrities as his clients. 

Tri, one of the biggest names in contemporary Vietnamese fashion, first made an impact in the design world back in 2000 when he won first prize at the Vietnam Grand Prix, with his Green Leaves collection.

After that, he began to work with singers and celebrities in Vietnam, styling their photo-shoots and designing signature looks

As his venture grew, he launched the ready-to-wear brand Kin by Cong Tri in 2009 and his menswear line KinConcept in 2011.

Tri is the first Vietnamese designer to become a member of Asian Couture Federation (ACF).
