VietNamNet Bridge – NewOpenWorld, the organizer of the vote for seven new natural wonders of the world, has allowed voters to vote through mobile phones.

 
To vote for Vietnam’s Ha Long Bay, voters dial +1 649 339 8080 and press 7712, the code for Ha Long Bay. The vote is successful if voters press the code after hearing a dialogue in English and the bell.

 

The vote is now at the final stage. Ha Long currently ranks the fourth of 28 candidates.

 

The winners will be announced on November 11 2011.

 

Another way to vote for Ha Long Bay, twice recognized by the UNESCO for its landscape and geological values, in northern Quang Ninh province, is visiting the website www.new7wonders.com/nature/en/vote.

 

NewOpenWorld is based in Switzerland and managed by Swiss billionaire Bernard Weber. Based on the viewpoint that six of seven wonders of the ancient world don’t exist anymore, Mr Weber established NewOpenWorld in 1999 to conduct campaigns to re-select world wonders.

 

The vote for the new seven natural wonders of the world was launched in 2007.
