The series ended at episode 1909.

The series "Secret of the Old Bridge" (El Secreto de Puente Viejo) bid farewell to television audiences with its 1909th episode after 91 months on air, making it the longest-running show on VTV.

Premiering on April 1, 2017, under the title "Secret of the Old Bridge" on VTV2, the show was later renamed "Behind a Love" from episode 1051 when it moved to VTV3. Over the course of 7 and a half years, the series held the record for the longest broadcast on VTV.

On October 31, audiences were surprised when the Spanish drama announced that episode 1909 would be its final installment, concluding its 91-month broadcast. Many viewers expressed relief that "Behind a Love" had ended, making room for new content.

The show’s extensive 7-year run with five 50-minute episodes each week proved too lengthy for most viewers to follow consistently.

“Behind a Love” featured consecutive seasons, each comprising 65 episodes. It originally aired in Spain, where it took 10 years to complete. Throughout its decade-long run, the show involved more than 23,000 actors. While many initially believed the series would continue in Vietnam until 2027, it concluded earlier than expected, with no prior announcement.

The series was recognized as the Best Spanish TV Show in 2012, earning multiple awards for categories such as Best Script, Best TV Soundtrack, Best Cinematography, and Most Popular Lead Actor.
