Vung Tau City People's Committee on April 22 sent a document asking restaurants that are operating on local beaches to move out by April 26.

Tourists will also be banned from bringing foods and drinks and hold parties on the beach.

"Vung Tau beaches have been polluted by the operation of many restaurants," the document said. "The ban will help keep the beaches clean and attract more visitors."
