The Green Transport Company Limited officially opened a new bus tour on October 31 in the southern province of Ba Ria Vung Tau to meet travel demands.

Buses with 8-11 seats, which runs on biofuel, has been favoured by tourists as they are convenient, safe and environmentally friendly. 

With the new service, tourists will further experience the stunning landscapes at tourist attractions in Vung Tau while taking selfies during the tour.

Deputy head of the provincial department of transport Tran Thuong Chi has encouraged businesses to put the registered buses into operation soon and introduced other types of eco-friendly buses to the locality to meet tourists’ demands.

Genting Dream brings 3,600 passengers to Ha Long

A luxury cruise ship, the Genting Dream of Genting Hong Kong and Malaysia’s Dream Cruise Line with 3,600 tourists on board arrived in Ha Long City, Quang Ninh Province on October 31.

This cruise line has brought the highest number of foreign visitors to Ha Long so far this year.

The visitors left Ha Long city at 9pm the same day after touring Ha Long Bay and some tourist attractions in the city.

The Genting Dream vessel is 335m long, 40m wide and weighs 151,300 tons. It can accommodate 3,400 passengers. Its first visit to Vietnam was in November 2016.

The cruise ship offers various luxury services like bar, restaurant, beauty care, discotheque, cinema, karaoke, entertainment centre, shops, video game centre, waterpark and golf course.

A representative from Saigontourist Quang Ninh said two international cruise ships, Chinese Taishan and Celebrity Millennium with more than 2,000 passengers on board, are scheduled to visit Ha Long City on November 1.
