Vuong Thanh Tuyen has been selected to represent Vietnam at the Miss Asia Pacific International 2017 pageant in the Philippines on November 11-29, according to the Golden Lotus Entertainment Joint Stock Company. 

Tuyen, 22, is 1.70 meters tall, weighs 55kg and measures 86-64-91. She finished second place in the Miss Mekong Delta 2015 pageant and is hoping to make an impact at the Miss Asia Pacific contest this year. She is currently in her first year of studies at Saigon University. 

Tuyen jetted off to Manila, the Philippines, for the beauty pageant on November 10.

The competition will come to a conclusion on November 29.
