VietNamNet Bridge – On the evening of July 26, thousands of soldiers, volunteers and Hanoian people offered incense to commemorate martyrs at Hanoi’s Mai Dich Cemetery.

The ceremony was held solemnly at the last resting place of many Party, State leaders and martyrs of the wars of resistance against the French and the US.

Similar activities also took place at many provinces and cities in the country on the same day, on the occasion of the Day for War Invalids and Martyrs (27/7).
