An exhibition hall featuring more than 100 life-size statues of Vietnamese artists working in theatre, movie and music was opened in Ho Chi Minh City on April 11.
More than 100 wax statues of Vietnamese celebrities are on display at the Hoa Binh Theatre in Ho Chi Minh City from April 11.
The celebrities are famous artists in various aspects, including professor Tran Van Khe, People’s Artists Huynh Nga and Hong Van, and singer Dam Vinh Hung.
Director of the theatre To Trung Kiet said that together with wax statues, there are biographies and contributions of each artist to the Vietnamese culture.
The first wax statue museum of Vietnamese celebrities has been made by the Tuong Sap Viet Company in 16 years in the hope of honouring the contributions made by the artists.
