The Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) said on Sunday it has "confronted" an attempt to hack government websites launched by cyber criminals in Egypt.

 VietNamNet Bridge – Information and Communications inspectors punished four websites using the gov.vn domain name for granting visas illegally.

 VietNamNet Bridge – Around 20 websites may be fined for violations related to copyright issues and unlicensed operation, as well as distortion of information in their publications.

 VietNamNet Bridge – Staff members of websites run by enterprises and organisations will no longer be allowed to work as official newspapers, according to the Ministry of Information and Communications.
