Duc took office as the bank’s chair in April 2011, when the bank prepared to list its shares on the HCM City bourse. With total assets reaching VND203 trillion by December 2014, according to Reuters, it is the largest among banks where the state does not hold the controlling stake.

Duc also holds important positions in the army. Senior Lieutenant General Le Huu Duc currently holds the position of Commander of the Air Defense - Air Force, and is a member of the Party Central Committee, National Assembly Deputy and Deputy Minister of Defense.

Nguyen Thi Nga, 1955, chair of SeABank

Recognized as one of Asia’s most influential businesswomen in 2014, Nguyen Thi Nga is one of the richest Vietnamese women thanks to her assets in banking, real estate, resorts and retail.

Nga has been working as a chair of SeABank, with total assets of $3.7 billion, since 2007. She founded and controls BRG, a holding company with three golf courses in Vietnam, including Kings’ Island Golf Resort and Do Son Seaside Golf Resort. In Hanoi, she has two hotels in Hanoi and the retail chain Intimex.

Nguyen Canh Son, 1967, chair of Eurowindow

Son started in East European countries and only joined the domestic market in 1996 when becoming a shareholder of VIB Bank.

The businessman later founded Eurowindow Holdings to manage investment projects in Vietnam, notably in the fields of real estate (Melinh Plaza, Eurowindow Multi Complex, Eurowindow Holding real estate trading floor), building materials and the finance sector (Techcombank and EuroCapital securities company).
