At midnight on September 10 (Vietnam time), Apple will host its annual fall launch event, dubbed "Awe Dropping", showcasing new products ahead of the holiday shopping season. The spotlight will likely be on the iPhone 17 series.

The event invite features a Liquid Glass-effect Apple logo, and CEO Tim Cook has posted an animated version of the logo on social platform X, confirming the event date and using the hashtag #AppleEvent.

According to predictions, Apple will introduce four new models: iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone 17 Pro Max, and a new addition - iPhone 17 Air, expected to replace the discontinued “Plus” version. The Air model is rumored to feature a slimmer design with a 6.6-inch display.

Color options for the iPhone 17 and 17 Air may include black, white, gray, light green, light purple, and light blue. The Pro models are expected to retain “professional” colors such as black, white, gray/titanium, deep blue, and burnt orange.

The entire iPhone 17 lineup may adopt a new rear design with a seamless camera bar, replacing the traditional protruding camera module. This design aims to make the phones slimmer without compromising camera performance.

The Pro models are expected to receive major camera upgrades, including a 24MP front camera and rear lenses with adjustable apertures. The iPhone 17 Air may feature a single 48MP rear camera to maintain its slim form factor.

In terms of materials, Apple is expected to introduce a new type of display glass offering better scratch resistance and anti-reflective properties. Internally, the devices may be powered by the new A19 chip, with a Pro variant exclusive to premium models. This chip is likely to be Apple’s first built on TSMC’s 2nm process, improving energy efficiency.

RAM is also expected to increase, with the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max possibly featuring 12GB RAM (up from 8GB in the iPhone 16).

Pricing remains uncertain due to ongoing US-China trade tensions and tariffs. Estimates suggest that the iPhone 17 Pro may exceed $2,000 depending on applied taxes.

Apple Watch Series 11 and Watch Ultra 3

Rumors indicate Apple will unveil the Apple Watch Series 11, which may retain its current design but come with internal upgrades. One potential new feature is blood pressure monitoring, though this will be for general health tracking rather than diagnostic purposes. Blood sugar monitoring is still unavailable.

Apple is also expected to introduce the Watch Ultra 3, possibly featuring a more powerful chip that boosts performance and energy efficiency. Some reports suggest it could be Apple’s first wearable with satellite connectivity.

Apple TV 4K (4th generation) and Mac

Apple is likely to launch the 4th-generation Apple TV 4K alongside the iPhone 17. While maintaining the same overall design, it may be slightly smaller and powered by the A17 Pro, A18, or even the A19 chip. RAM may be increased to 8GB, enabling integration with Apple Intelligence for smarter, more personalized Siri experiences.

As for the Mac lineup, new models are not expected at the September event. Macs are usually launched in separate spring or fall events. The next MacBook models with M5 chips could debut as early as October.
