Notes for watching Tet fireworks
Besides choosing an ideal viewing location, residents and visitors should keep in mind:
Select suitable transportation, as areas around fireworks sites are often restricted or closed to private vehicles.
Arrive early to find parking or prioritize public transport. Parking fees during this time may be high or even surge unexpectedly.
Consider booking seats at restaurants or hotels with good fireworks views. Early reservations and clarification of regulations are recommended.
Dress warmly, as New Year’s Eve weather is often cold and misty. Comfortable footwear such as sneakers or low-heeled shoes is advisable for walking and standing.
Safeguard personal belongings carefully, as viewing spots are usually crowded. Limit carrying expensive accessories, jewelry or large amounts of cash.
Prepare light snacks, water, tissues and devices such as power banks if arriving early.
