VietNamNet Bridge – The recently-released book about the panorama and the current situation of Vietnam’s information and communication technology industry has not only data but also reports and analysis on specific fields.


The National Steering Board on Information Technology and the Ministry of Information and Communications made public--the White Book on Vietnam’s ICT 2011 on July 12.

The book was compiled based on data collected from reports of related ministries and agencies in Vietnam, in the fields of ICT infrastructure, IT industry, postal and telecom industries, IT application, IT human resources and information security.

The book also has legal documents on ICT and information on Vietnam’s ICT international cooperation, outstanding ICT events in the countries and others.

This is the third White Book on ICT published in Vietnam so far. The previous book was published in 2009.

The book 2011 has two new contents: review of the ICT development in the last ten years and the introduction of the project to turn Vietnam into a strong country in ICT industry.

The book is considered significant reference for state agencies, as well as Vietnamese and foreign businesses and organizations in making business strategies and seeking ICT investment and cooperation opportunities in Vietnam.
