VietNamNet Bridge – Hanoi police have determined that nail dispersing incident on Kim Ma  Road, which made hundreds of vehicles get punctured on the evening of August 20, was an accident.

Hundreds of motorbikes have punctures in Hanoi’s main road

Police said on August 22 that a young man carried a bag of nails on his motorbike. The bag was pierced so thousands of nails fell to the road. Previously, it was said that some motorbike repairmen spread nails into the road.

On the evening of August 20, thousands of nails appeared on Kim Ma Road, making at least nearly 100 motorbikes get punctures.

Local people and street cleaners collected several kilos of new nails from 2s to 5cm long. Some nails are up to 7cm long.

After that, traffic policemen joined these people to collect all the nails.
