The judges awarded eleven top works for their artistic excellence and ability to convey the soul of the city. The awards included one Gold Medal, two Silver Medals, three Bronze Medals, and five Consolation Prizes, with an additional 68 photos chosen for exhibition.
Nguyen Dang Viet Cuong took home the Gold Medal for his striking image, "We Love Ho Chi Minh City," which beautifully illustrated the city's communal spirit. Silver Medals were awarded to Nguyen Tan Nghia for "Flyboard" and Vo Van Hoang for "Street Joy," each celebrating lively city moments.
Bronze Medals recognized Huynh Pham Anh Dung’s "Ao Dai Festival," Nguyen Thi Thuy Hang's "Ho Chi Minh City Integration and Development," and Tran Le Huy's "Colors," showcasing the city’s cultural festivities and colorful urban life.
Mr. Doan Hoai Trung, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Photography Association, noted that this year's festival highlighted the city's cultural richness through its characteristic festivals and daily activities. He emphasized the influx of young photographers and enthusiasts, demonstrating the competition's growing appeal.
The festival not only honored the artistic talents of photographers but also provided a snapshot of the city’s cultural heartbeat. It celebrated the beauty of labor, the joy of community gatherings, and the intimate moments of everyday life, all captured through the lens of the city’s most talented photographers.
These images serve as a reminder of the diverse and dynamic spirit of Ho Chi Minh City, continuing to inspire both residents and visitors alike.
