VietNamNet Bridge - World famous Canadian Vietnamese bubble artist Fan Yang will perform at the Hanoi Friendship Culture Palace from May 28 – June 2 to celebrate the International Children’s Day (June 1).

Fan Yang was born in 1962 to a Hungarian father and a Vietnamese mother in the northern port city of Hai Phong. He has had a passion for the sparkling colours of bubbles since he was a child.
Over the past 30 years, he has traveled to many countries all over the world and entertained audiences, establishing himself as the ‘Bubble Magician.’ He has achieved 16 Guinness world records for bubble blowing, including the largest spherical soap bubble with a 2.3 metre diameter and the world’s largest wall of bubbles, 47.54 metres long.
Prior to his performance programme, on May 14, the artist is scheduled to present 1,000 gifts to disadvantaged children in Huu Nghi, the SOS Children’s Villages and Xa Dan school for the hearing and speaking impaired. He also plans to visit and present 1,000 tonnes of rice to homeless children adopted by Bo De pagoda in Gia Lam district later the same day.
Earlier, he gave amazing shows at the Hoa Binh theatre in Ho Chi Minh City from April 29-May 2 and donated all proceeds to ‘Nghia Tinh Truong Son’ (Sentimental Attachment for Truong Son) charity fund.
